Basis of Faith and Aims and Objectives

Churches Together in Ewell unites in pilgrimage the churches in our area which acknowledge God's revelation of himself in Christ, confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour according to the Scriptures, and in obedience to God’s will, empowered by his Holy Spirit, commit themselves together to:

  • Explore Christian faith and belief together
  • Maintain strong relationships between the churches
  • Promote deeper understanding of one another's churches
  • Fulfil Christ's Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel through common and shared witness and service
  • To worship and pray together for one another and the local community we are called to serve

Pray Together

"Pray Together" is a section on the website to help bring people together across the churches to pray. Please use the contacts page to let us know of prayer events being hosted by your church.

Sadly due to the on going COVID situation there are no events planned for Prayer Week 2021. Nonetheless the following resources may prove helpful.

HOPE 2021 - Cancelled

It is with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of our annual Hope Event at Bourne Hall - owing to the ongoing lockdown associated with coronavirus (Covid-19), it is not practical to organize it.

Together at Christmas - 2020

Christmas goody boxes

This Christmas, Churches Together in Ewell delivered Goody Boxes to those who would be alone on Christmas Day - our customary Christmas lunch for these people having been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.

The Goody boxes contained assorted festive items including Christmas cake and pudding, a calendar, a cracker with hat and motto and much more. These were prepared by the CT Ewell Together at Christmas group and delivered to our regular guests by a band of helpers drawn from the many churches in Ewell. Our guests were very happy with their gifts and most grateful for all we do for them each year. Many thanks to all involved.

Annual Review Evening

As part of our Annual Review evening at Stoneleigh on 25th September 2019 we were invited to each weave a piece of ribbon into the "picture" as a symbol of our unity in Christ in this local area.
